‘It is not time to explain to Pakistan, but to punish it…’, Owaisi again lashes out at neighbouring country over Pahalgam attack

New Delhi: Asaduddin Owaisi, the head of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, is continuously attacking neighbouring country Pakistan over the Pahalgam terror attack. He said that now the time has come to give a befitting reply to Pakistan.

Owaisi, while addressing a rally in Bihar, said that Pakistan is shameless. It is a failed state. Now is not the time to explain to Pakistan, but to punish it.

He said that our government will give a strong reply to Pakistan. Terrorists come from Pakistan and kill innocent people. These terrorist attacks will end now. People of Pakistan are asking for proof. People of Pakistan are shameless. We had given proof of Pathankot and Mumbai attacks to Pakistan. But Pakistan did nothing. Pakistan will never accept that terrorists come to India from their land and attack. The time to explain to Pakistan is over. Now is not the time to think, but to give a reply. Otherwise, these people will kill common people like this every two or six months.

Owaisi also demanded from the central government that the 26 people killed in the Pahalgam terror attack be given the status of martyrs. Those who were killed by terrorists in Pahalgam. The government should consider them martyrs and give due respect to their families. I appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to respect the sentiments of the victim families and give martyr status to the dead.

Owaisi, referring to the statement of Himanshi Narwal, wife of Indian Navy Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, said that despite losing her husband, she did not show hatred towards Muslims and Kashmiris. She only demanded peace and justice. This statement is a message to those who spread Hindu-Muslim poison in the country.

He said that the country needs peace and unity, not hatred at this time. Our country will remain strong only when we promote love and brotherhood.
