Activists from Hindu organizations shared a video on social media, alleging that the youth was spitting on the pizza base while preparing it. As soon as the video went viral, a crowd gathered in the area, and protests regarding the incident erupted.

According to eyewitnesses, following the circulation of the video, numerous locals and members of Hindu organizations rushed to the shop. It is alleged that the youth was spitting on the pizza base, an act that further intensified public anger. Activists from the Hindu organizations apprehended the youth and immediately alerted the police. Upon receiving the information, the Sector-24 Police arrived at the scene, took the accused youth—Muzammil—into custody, and transported him to the police station. The police have also seized certain items related to the shop, as well as the video footage.
