Trump and Musk open war… President threatens over government contracts, Tesla CEO starts impeachment discussion

New Delhi: The long-standing friendship between US President Donald Trump and billionaire industrialist Elon Musk has now turned into open enmity. When Trump threatened to end government contracts and subsidies of Musk’s companies, Musk retaliated and started a new discussion by supporting the post related to impeachment i.e. removal of Trump from office. In fact, after Trump’s threat, Musk’s companies like Tesla and SpaceX may get a big shock.

Trump wrote on Truth Social that the easiest way to save billions of dollars from our budget is to end Elon’s government subsidies and contracts. I always wondered why Biden did not do this earlier.

Musk’s big announcement
After President Trump’s threat to cancel government contracts, Musk has made a big announcement. He said that SpaceX will now start decommissioning its ‘Dragon’ spacecraft. However, Elon Musk retorted to Trump’s statement in one word and wrote ‘Whatever’, meaning as you wish.

Tesla’s shares fell sharply
Shares of Musk’s company Tesla fell sharply in Wall Street. Tesla’s shares fell by 14.3% and the company’s market value suffered a loss of about $150 billion, which is the biggest one-day drop in Tesla’s history. A few minutes after the stock market closed, Musk wrote ‘Yes’ in response to a post on X, which talked about impeachment against Trump.

Dragon is SpaceX’s main crew and cargo vehicle, which is used to send missions to the International Space Station (ISS) for NASA. It is the only private system from America to carry humans to the ISS.

Musk went mad when his EV order was terminated: Trump
In another post, President Trump wrote that Elon was getting irritated, so I asked him to leave. I withdrew his EV mandate, which forced everyone to buy electric cars that no one else wanted to buy. However, Elon knew long ago that I was going to do this, and he went mad.

The war of words between Trump and Musk did not stop here. Musk also made a personal attack and claimed that Trump would have lost the election without me. I spent at least $250 million for his comeback and now look at such an ungrateful attitude. Musk also reminded that till recently he was the chief of the White House’s ‘Department of Government Efficiency’ (DOGE), which was created to keep an eye on government wasteful expenditure.
