Was anything hidden from the country? Congress surrounded the Modi government by referring to the statement of CDS Chauhan

New Delhi. Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan rejected the claim of Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in which he said that Pakistani security forces shot down six Indian aircraft including four Rafales of India.

After the statement of CDS, Mallikarjun Kharge has asked questions to the Modi government at the center on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

What did Mallikarjun Kharge say?
Mallikarjun Kharge said that the interview given by CDS Chauhan in Singapore has raised some important questions, which need to be asked.

These questions can be asked only when a special session of Parliament is called. The Modi government has misled the country but now everything is slowly becoming clear.

He said that our Indian Air Force personnel risked their lives while fighting the enemies. We also suffered some damage. But our soldiers are safe. According to the CDS’s interview, we corrected a mistake, re-implemented it and then flew our planes two days later, and attacked the enemy from a long distance.

Kharge has demanded that a comprehensive review of defense preparations should be done through an independent expert committee regarding the entire situation. Like it was done through the ‘Kargil Review Committee’.

Congress again surrounded the Modi government over ceasefire
Mallikarjun Kharge said that US President Donald Trump has reiterated the ceasefire. If this happens then it is a violation of the Shimla Agreement (1972).

He said that instead of clarifying Trump’s statement, the Indian government, especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has maintained silence. There is no transparency from the government on this issue. Even the US Commerce Secretary confirmed the ceasefire in an affidavit filed in a court.

Kharge said – Prime Minister Modi is busy with elections these days and is taking personal credit for the bravery of the security forces. He is hiding the bravery of the soldiers and is avoiding clearly stating the outline of the ceasefire.

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has called the 11-year tenure of the Modi government an undeclared emergency. He has attacked the Modi government over the statement of the CDS by posting on X.

He posted on X, ‘It is an extraordinary situation on the undeclared emergency that has been going on for 11 years that the Prime Minister neither chairs an all-party meeting, nor takes the Parliament into confidence – but the country gets information about the first phase of Operation Sindoor through the interview of the CDS given in Singapore. Could the Prime Minister not have taken the opposition leaders into confidence earlier?’

What did RJD leader Manoj Kumar Jha say?
RJD leader Manoj Kumar Jha posted on X, ‘Many questions are being raised in the wake of the interview given by the CDS. On the other hand, the US President has probably given such statements 12 times till date which do not affect the parties but affect the ocean-like mood of the country. Shouldn’t a special session of Parliament be called and a dialogue be held in a unified voice? Mutual spewing of venom on social media between various troll armies cannot be synonymous with parliamentary systems and conventions.’
