This year, Keeravani’s music will resonate in the air of Kartavya Path during the Republic Day parade. This occasion is even more special because it marks the 150th anniversary of the patriotic song ‘Vande Mataram’. To make this historic occasion memorable, Keeravani has composed a special tune.
Keeravani’s Music to be Featured on January 26th
Announcing this on X (formerly Twitter), Keeravani wrote, “On the 150th anniversary of the famous song Vande Mataram, I feel deeply honored and privileged to compose the music for the Republic Day parade on January 26th under the Ministry of Culture. This grand performance will be presented by 2,500 artists from across India. Stay tuned to celebrate the spirit of our nation — Vande Mataram.”
Oscar Award Won 4 Years Ago
For those who don’t know, Keeravani also composed the music for director Rajamouli’s film RRR. The film’s song Naatu Naatu won the Oscar in the Best Original Song category at the 95th Academy Awards in 2023.
Waiting for the film ‘Varanasi’ and 2027
Along with this big Republic Day announcement, Keeravani is also in the spotlight because of his upcoming film ‘Varanasi’. Recently, a grand ‘Globetrotter Launch Event’ for this film was held at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, which was attended by legendary stars like Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

Adding to the suspense surrounding the film ‘Varanasi’, Keeravani also launched the entry music for Prithviraj Sukumaran’s character ‘Kumbha’ at the event. This powerful music has further increased the audience’s excitement for the film.
