According to a report by the TOI, a daughter has been born to Suryakumar Yadav and his wife, Devisha Shetty. Consequently, ‘Surya’ may miss the upcoming IPL (Indian Premier League) match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) scheduled for May 10 (Sunday).

It is reported that Suryakumar Yadav has not departed for Raipur with the team and is currently spending time with his family. For Suryakumar—who has been going through a difficult phase in the 2026 IPL season—this marks a deeply special moment in his personal life. On Thursday (May 7), he became a father as a daughter was born into his family.

Suryakumar’s Poor Form Continues
Although his on-field performance this season has not lived up to expectations, this happy news brings a sense of relief to him. Once considered one of the world’s most dangerous T20 batsmen, Suryakumar Yadav has appeared to lack rhythm in the current IPL season.
