New Delhi: An army convoy going from Quetta to Taftan in Pakistan was attacked by terrorists on Sunday. Seven soldiers were killed in this attack while 21 were injured. But the Baloch Liberation Army has claimed the death of 90 Pakistani soldiers.
The Baloch Liberation Army took responsibility for the attack on the Pakistani army convoy. This attack took place in Noshki, 150 km from Quetta. After this attack, the army has deployed helicopters and drones in the area.
The army convoy was going to Taftan on Saturday. There were seven army buses and two other vehicles in this convoy, which were attacked. According to the report, a vehicle loaded with IED collided with a bus in the army convoy. It was a suicide attack.
SHO of Noshki station Zafarullah Suleimani said that initial reports have revealed that it was a suicide attack. Evidence found at the scene has shown that the suicide bomber deliberately rammed the vehicle filled with explosives into the army convoy.
He said that the death toll may increase. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has condemned the attack and condoled the death of the killed soldiers.
BLA’s big claim regarding the attack
BLA issued a statement saying that it took responsibility for this attack. The Majeed Brigade, a suicide unit of the Baloch Liberation Army, carried out a suicide attack on the Pakistani army on the RCD Highway in Noshki. There were eight army buses in this convoy.
One of these buses was completely damaged in the explosion. Immediately after this attack, BLA’s Fateh Squad completely surrounded the second army bus and killed all the army soldiers in it. In this way, the total number of deaths has increased to 90.
