Mother used to cook Bhindi ki Sabzi repeatedly, son ran away 1200 KM away in anger, police returned with him by flight

Nagpur: A 17-year-old boy did not like Bhindi ki Sabzi at all but his mother often cooked Bhindi at home and fed him. He often quarreled with his mother over this matter. Last Thursday, once again Bhindi ki Sabzi was cooked, he got angry and after arguing with his mother, he left the house and ran away. Police found him about 1200 km away from Delhi.

The incident is from Nagpur city, where a 17-year-old boy ran away to Delhi without telling anyone. After a quarrel with his mother over cooking Bhindi ki Sabzi, the boy left the house at around 11 pm and boarded a train and reached Delhi. The family members searched for him in Nagpur and at their relatives’ place but when he was not found, the family filed a missing report in the Kotwali police station. After this, the Anti Human Trafficking Unit and the police team swung into action and found him from Delhi and brought him back to Nagpur by plane and handed him over to his family.

12th passed, preparing for college admission
According to the news, police officials said that this boy had recently passed the class 12th examination and was preparing for college admission these days. He was good in studies but was a little sensitive by nature. He often got angry over ladyfinger vegetable and used to fight with his mother. On the night of July 10, when the mother cooked ladyfinger for dinner, there was a heated argument between the two. Then the boy quietly left the house. Neither did he tell anyone, nor did he contact anyone.

When he did not return home the whole night, the family reached the police station, a missing report was registered
When the teenager did not return home the whole night and his mobile was also found switched off, the family got worried and lodged a missing report in the Kotwali police station the next morning. The case was related to a minor, so it was taken seriously. A team was formed under the leadership of Inspector Lalita Todse and the help of AHTU was also taken so that the teenager does not fall prey to any wrong situation. During the investigation, the police investigated the location of the teenager’s mobile phone, his social media accounts and phone calls. With the help of all this, it was found out that he had gone to Delhi by train. After this, the police team contacted his old friends in Delhi. During interrogation, a friend told that he was staying with him. As soon as the information was confirmed, the Nagpur Police team went to Delhi and recovered him safely.

The boy was counseled
The police said that at the time of recovery, the teenager was completely safe and physically healthy. But signs of anger were definitely visible in him. Therefore, after bringing him to the police station, he was given counseling so that he does not take such steps again. The police explained to him that any disagreement or anger can be resolved through dialogue. Also, the family was also told that it is important to take the emotional needs of children seriously during adolescence.

Brought to Nagpur by flight
The boy was brought from Delhi to Nagpur by flight and then handed over to his parents at the police station. The parents became emotional after seeing their son. Police officers talked to the family at the police station itself and also counselled them to avoid such a situation in future.

Police appealed to all
Kotwali police and AHTU have appealed to all that families should be cautious about the mental state of teenagers. Lack of communication at home, authoritarian behaviour and emotional distance sometimes lead to such decisions which can be dangerous.
