New Delhi. Before voting in Delhi, Anna Hazare has advised the public about voting and told how to choose people. Anna Hazare on Saturday urged the voters of Delhi to vote for people with clean thoughts and good character, who can sacrifice for the country and bear insults.
Anna Hazare, who led the anti-corruption movement in Delhi with Arvind Kejriwal before the formation of Aam Aadmi Party, has released a video message. In this, he urged the people of Delhi not to vote for useless people because this will destroy the country.
Anna Hazare said, ‘Elections are going to be held in Delhi. I urge the voters to vote for people with clean thoughts and character, who walk on the path of truth, who can sacrifice and bear insults.’ Hazare said the voting process should not have the aspect of ‘I drink and it will be convenient for others to drink’. He asserted that if India has to be saved, someone has to make a sacrifice.
Hazare had led an anti-corruption movement in Delhi. After the movement, his followers like Arvind Kejriwal formed the Aam Aadmi Party in 2012, which came to power in the national capital in 2013. However, Hazare did not approve of Kejriwal’s entry into politics.
